The luxury tent at The Beach Hut in Orbost is a true hidden gem. Nestled in a picturesque area, it offers a unique experience for nature enthusiasts. During my stay, I took advantage of the hiking trails nearby and spent a blissful afternoon fishing by the crystal-clear waters. The tranquil garden at the tented camp was a peaceful haven, allowing me to unwind and reconnect with nature. The private beach area provided the perfect spot for relaxation, with the sound of waves lulling me into a state of pure bliss. The availability of free private parking was a great convenience, ensuring that I had a worry-free stay. The provision of towels in the tented camp was a thoughtful touch, making my stay even more comfortable. , the well-equipped kitchenette in the tent had everything I needed to whip up a quick meal. Despite its remote location, the tented camp was surprisingly accessible, with the nearest airport, Benbecula, just a short distance away.

    Limited visibility of yellow house.

The location of the hotel is superb, offering a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Guests can enjoy a short walk to the beach and beautiful views of the lochs and mountains. the rooms are cozy and well-appointed with lovely homely touches. the bathroom has a large bathtub for relaxing after a long day of hiking. Guests also appreciate the attention to detail, from the trim and hardware to the provided milk and champagne.

Some guests may find the bed a bit challenging to get in and out of, and the mattress could be more supportive.

We had a cozy and relaxing stay at the Beach Hut. The room was well-appointed and the large bathtub was perfect for unwinding after a long day of hiking. The property itself is surrounded by beautiful trees and has a lovely path leading to the beach. We even had a possible otter sighting! The peaceful surroundings and comfortable amenities made our stay better than wild camping. we highly recommend this hotel for a tranquil and enjoyable getaway.

The value for money at The Beach Hut was excellent. The room was well-appointed with lovely homely touches and had a stunning view of the Skye coastline. The location was superb, offering tranquility and easy access to attractions like Neist Point and Dunvegan Castle. The staff was helpful and ensured we had everything we needed.

Breakfast delights could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

The highlight of our stay was the private beach area. It felt like having our own slice of paradise, with soft sand between our toes and the gentle lapping of waves providing the perfect soundtrack to our relaxation. We spent hours basking in the sun, feeling like VIPs on our exclusive sandy oasis.

    Electric hob had limited capacity.
